About Kinti Craft

Hi there! My name is Tasha, and I'm the artisan behind Kinti Craft. I've been making jewelry since I was a little girl, and my passion for this craft only gets stronger as I grow older. When I create I feel my ancestors watching over my shoulder, whispering words of wisdom and encouragement. Pachamama lends her voice, opens my heart, and brings peace of mind as I pour blessings into my work. This jewelry is so much more than just art to me. It's my way of honoring the earth, my ancestors, and my own heart.

Macrame is special to me because I am able to literally tie my intentions into each knot. I make each and every piece of jewelry with the intention to bring you into harmony with the earth, with your ancestors, and with your own soul. If you have a personal intention that you would like woven into your Kinti Craft creation please reach out! I'm more than happy to provide this for you free of charge. May you all be blessed in all ways.

Because it’s important to me that we all work together to make the world a better place, I have a tree planted in the Amazon Rainforest for each piece of jewelry that is purchased. I've spent a good bit of time in the Amazon Rainforest, and each time I've been there my heart is blown wide open by the people, animals, plants, and plant medicines that this land holds. This is a truly magical place that holds more power than we could ever imagine. I’m committed to doing my part to ensure that the Amazon exists for generations to come. Thank you for your help in this mission.

If you’re curious about our name, Kinti is the Quechua word for Hummingbird. Hummingbird medicine has much to do with following the things that bring us joy and drinking in the nectar of life. It connects us to our ancestors and brings connection to Great Spirit. Hummingbird medicine speaks to me clearly as I create, and I honor this special creature through my work.
